Volleyball Falls 3-1 at Kansas |

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Karina Garlington tallied a match-high 20 kills and Kansas overcame a one-set deficit to defeat Baylor 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-18) on Wednesday night at the Horejsi Family Center.
The loss snaps Baylor's two-match overall winning streak. The Bears lose to Kansas for the first time since the 2006 season.
Katie Sanders led Baylor (18-12, 9-10 Big 12) with 16 kills and added 15 digs for her 14th kill-dig double-double of the season. Allison King tallied 11 kills on a career-best .303 hitting. She also tallied 20 digs on the night to record her second-career kill-dig double-double.
Taylor Barnes contributed 46 set assists, while King and Ashlie Christenson added one service ace for the Bears.
King and Sanders were joined in double-digit digs by Caitlyn Trice who tallied 15 digs. Anna Breyfogle added eight kills and five total blocks, including a solo. Christenson tallied nine kills and added three total blocks.
Baylor jumped out to a quick five-point lead at 9-4 on a Sanders kill. The two teams traded serves before Kansas cut the lead to two points at 15-13. Baylor scored six of the next seven points to build a 21-14 lead and soon had a set point at 24-16 on a block. Kansas scored four straight points, but Sanders ended the first set with a kill.
The Bears started quickly in the second set, winning the first four points.
