Lets see if we can keep this going the next 12 days.
Put your favorite one on here, but you must know all the words.

I'll send this first one out to two people who some of us know. They might have thought of this already???:)

All I want for Christmas is a real good tan,
Take me to the islands
Put my feet in the sand
Rockin' to and fro with the rhythm of the ocean
Singin' Silent Night with the palm trees a blowin'

Ooooh, don't you think it's a pretty good plan,
All I want for Christmas, is a real good tan.

Well if your thinkin' bout gettin' me a present this year,
Let me put a bug in your cute little ear
How bout two tickets to a tropical show
Where we don't have to wear these winter clothes anymore.
Instead of Turkey we'll have mahi mahi grillin'
And Pina Coloda's in the blender chillin'

Well everybody's prayin' for a Christmas so white
Come to think about it that would be alright
As long as there is sand not snow on the ground
And everyday our skin gets a little more brown
We'll string some lights in a coconut tree
I'll rub some oil on you, you can rub some on me.

All I want for Christmas is a real good tan
I can see us baby on the beach hand and hand
Rockin' to and fro with the rhythm of the ocean
Baby what you say you and me we'll be goin'

Ooooh, I can almost feel my toes in the sand
All I want for Christmas, is a real good tan.

Don't worry baby, we'll celebrate plenty
I'll buy you some shades and a brand new bikini
We won't have to worry bout the holiday rush
It'll be you and me fallen' deeper in love.

Ooooh, don't you think it's a pretty good plan,
All I want for Christmas, is a real good tan.

Oh, Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining. It is the night of our dear Savior's birth. Long lay the world in sin and error pining, 'til He appeared and the soul felt it's worth. A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, for yonder breaks a new and glorious morn. Fall on your knees. Oh, hear the angel voices. Oh, night divine. Oh, night when Christ was born. Oh, night divine. Oh, night. Oh, night divine. :)
Lets see if we can keep this going the next 12 days.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

She'd been drinking too much eggnog,
And we begged her not to go.
But she forgot her medication,
And she staggered out the door into the snow.

When we found her Christmas morning,
At the scene of the attack
She had hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminating Claus marks on her back.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

Now we're all so proud of Grandpa,
He's been taking this so well.
See him in there watching football,
Drinking beer and playing cards with cousin Mel.

It's not Christmas without Grandma,
All the family's dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder
Should we open up her gifts or send them back?

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

Now the goose is on the table And the
pudding made of fig (ahhhhh!) And the
blue and silver candles,
That would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig.

I've warned all my friends and neighbours,
Better watch out for yourselves.
They should never give a license,
To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.

Sing it, Grandpa!

Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas Eve. You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me an' Grandpa, we believe.

I like O Holy Night as well...as long as someone with a good voice is singing it (my favorite two renditions are by Bing Crosby and Josh Grobin). I also like 'You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch' and Mr. Garrison's Merry F***ing Christmas. Words can be posted by someone else.

It was December 24th on Hollis Ave in the dark
When I seen a man chilling with his dog in the park
I approached very slowly with my heart full of fear
Looked at his dog, oh my God, an ill reindeer
But then I was illin because the man had a beard
And a bag full of goodies, 12 o'clock had neared
So I turned my head a second and the man had gone
But he left his driver's wallet smack dead on the lawn
I picket the wallet up then I took a pause
Took out the license and it cold said "Santa Claus"
A million dollars in it, cold hundreds of G's
Enough to buy a boat and matching car with ease
But I'd never steal from Santa, cause that ain't right
So I'm going home to mail it back to him that night
But when I got home I bugged, cause under the tree
Was a letter from Santa and all the dough was for me

It's Christmas time in Hollis Queens
Mom's cooking chicken and collard greens
Rice and stuffing, macaroni and cheese
And Santa put gifts under Christmas trees
Decorate the house with lights at night
Snow's on the ground, snow white so bright
In the fireplace is the yule log
Beneath the mistle toe as we drink egg nog
The rhymes you hear are the rhymes of Darryl's
But each and every year we bust Chrsitmas carrols
(Christmas melodies)

Rhymes so loud and prod you hear it
It's Christmas time and we got the spirit
Jack Frost chillin, the orchas out?
And that's what Christmas is all about
The time is now, the place is here
And the whole wide world is filled with cheer

My name's D.M.C. with the mic in my hand
And I'm chilling and coolin just like a snowman
So open your eyes, lend us an ear
We want to say

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Oh Holy Night is my favorite but this is a very close second when it is sung with beauty and respect:

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ, the Saviour is born
Christ, the Saviour is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth "

A medianoche se oyó

A medianoche se oyó aquel dulce refrán
de ángeles que en unión las gratas nuevas dan:
"La paz y buena voluntad del gran Rey celestial".
El mundo en quietud oyó el son angelical.

En gloria vedlos descender, los ángeles de Dios;

I did not know that quietud was a word in Spanish. Learn something new every day.

As a teacher, Ms. Jones, was very curious about how each of her
students celebrated Christmas. She called on young Patrick Murphy.
"Tell me Patrick what do you do at Christmas Time?", she asked.

Patrick addressed the class, "Well Ms. Jones, me and my twelve
brothers and sisters go to the midnight Mass and we Sing hymns, then
we come home very late and we put mince pies by the back door and
hang up our stockings. Then all excited We go to bed and wait for
Father Christmas to come with all our Toys".

"Very nice Patrick", she said. "Now, Jimmy Brown what do you do at Christmas?"

"Well, Ms. Jones, me and my sister also go to Church with Mum And Dad
and we sing carols and we get home ever so late. We put cookies and
milk by the chimney and we hang up our stockings. We hardly sleep,
waiting for Santa Claus to bring our presents."

Realizing there was a Jewish boy in the class and not wanting to
leave him out of the discussion, she asked, "Now, Isaac Cohen, what
do you do at Christmas?"

Isaac said, "Well, it's the same thing every year. Dad comes home
from the office. We all pile into the Rolls Royce, then we Drive to
his toy factory. When we get inside, we look at all The empty shelves
and begin to sing 'What a Friend We Have in Jesus'. Then we all go to
the Bahamas."
