Likely to sign with Baylor in track. Ran some 10.4's low 21s and long jumped over 23' this season.

Also a good little WR but he won't likely see the football field with the way track scholarships work.

Also played HS baseball.

Yep. No football, 100, 200, probably stretched out to 400.

You have to wait 4 years to play football if you want to?

Ran 10.32 at state I believe. The kid is raw and has a bunch of room for improvement. I think we've found that 4th leg for the nasty 4x1 we'll put together next year.

He was last out of the blocks on the 10.32 as well.

Hart will make a 400m runner out of him in no time.

Exactly! He was last out of the blocks, and last to make his move at about 30 meters into the race. He's got unbelievable footspeed, but doesn't have the finesse of coming out of the blocks or the knowledge of how to run a sound race. He's built kinda like Brandon Couts and Brendan Christian. I really believe he's going to be a good one.

And ditka, Courtney may have the strength to run a good leg on the 4x4, but we'll have plenty of 400 meter runners the next couple of years. We need points in the sprints, and Courtney has already shown with his time from state that he can score at conference in the 100 and 200. Why score another 2 or 3 points in the quarter when he could score 6 or 8 in the 100 or 200? I'm sure you were just goofing around with your statement though.

exactly, Sonic--

We need some 100 and 200 guys for those events and the 4x1. Long jump is a bonus. That's 3 scoring events (maybe 4 on a busy day) for this guy per meet. Exactly what we need.
