I have had enough of Bayless. He might be an OK writer, but as a TV personality he is the worst I have ever seen. On Cold Pizza whenever he talks he looks like he is about to explode. Furthermore, whenever anyone disagrees with him he acts like a spoiled brat.

So, here it is - the official Skip Bayless Sucks Thread.

Post the reasons why you think this clown needs to get fired, and we can send it to ESPN.

He went to Vandy, but doesn't even like the school. How shallow do you have to be to not like your alma mater?? He has a hard-on for OU, so I hate that.

He gets this bitter beer face when he disagrees with Woody's statements.

Skip Bayless has ZERO respect in his own profession from his peers. He is the Jerry Springer of sports journallists. Producers love him and put him on their shows because he has so little shame that he will say "Troy Aikman is gay" or "Troy Aikman is a racist" or "Tom Landry fondles Chiuahua puppies", etc.. to get another copy sold, or another ratings point or some additional attention from the jr high girls in his apartment complex.

On his Dallas radio show, he once told Mark Stepnoski that, pound for pound, he (Skip Bayless) was in better physical shape and a better athlete that Stepper.

I could go on and on. The man has nothing to say and is desperately trying to say it loud enough to get anyone to listen.

The man is cornier the orvel reddenbacher. his 'skip shots' make me want to vomit on my radio just to short it out. the only personality that has ever graced the airwaves of the Little Ticket that I have less sports respect for than the Hot Spot. how he is national now is beyond me.

At least Paige laughs at himself. Bayless really thinks that people care about his opinions (rather than his schtick, which is what is needed for the soccer mom viewership of Cold Pizza).

Like Atown says, he talks trash, basically, about his alma mater, Vandy, who had a pretty successful year in the tough SEC and openly cheers for his home state school OU(who Vandy might well have beaten like a drum this year...). This is akin to someone going to Baylor or Rice for the education while cheering for Texas when the annual game is played. That is the definition of sorryness (normal non-alum, non-college attending t-shirt fans can't help it, they have no major team to really support in the first place)

He cost the DMN my subscription when he was with them. The above mention of him as a "Jerry Springer" type just about sums it up. He has no socially redeeming values. Having someone with his lack of character is bad PR for ESPN.

I'm gonna get flammed here, but I think he's just about 4 years ahead of Jim Rome. Basically someone who is unique at first, but after awhile it becomes "enough is enough".

It's all a matter of opinion of course, but I tend to think that Bayless is the worst of the axis of ESPN idiots (Rome, SA Smith being the other two). Rome's schtick and and antics are so close to self-parody that they are worth a chuckle (or two, Rome provides great material for Frank Caliendo anyway). Smith's asininely serious demeanor is worth one as well. (both are still idiots, though, don't get me wrong)
Bayless doesn't have one ounce of entertainment value, not a good thing to combine with idiocy.

Is Bayless still saying that Steve Walsh should be the starting QB for the Cowboys rather than Troy Aikman? I still laugh about how he said Walsh was a winner and Aikman wasn't.

Poor Woody he can not help it. He is a Tennessee Vol.
