It's frustrating beyond belief to know that had the TCU offense stayed on the field the ENTIRE second half with UT simply punting it back to them on 1st down after every UT stop, TCU would have been lucky to score 10 points. However, it is what it is and it will look like TCU dominated UT(when it...
We had too many hopes on UT's shoulders.
Their football team looks like the Keystone Kops.
I figure I can't be alone...
Oh, yeah, and football is on today but the current thing on their tv is the dog show.
Ugh. Just hope it's close either way.
Does anyone have an answer?
I know we have 2 weeks left here but It would be nice to see a new set of peeps take hold of this political see-saw each year.
Just need to focus on this and shut out all of the other noise regarding CFP, other teams winning or losing, etc. Just focus on getting the W on Saturday as this all that really matters.
Aggy finished 7-5
Interesting and hilarious how this plays out.
Wow, what a day!
Will Charlie cut him before next season?
They can both lose although was pulling for UT today.
Never even mention the fact tht it would be co-champions with tie breaker going to Baylor.
Bottom line. If we beat a top 10 (even top 15) KSU, there's still not a metric to rationalize not jumping TCU.
tOSU is still our problem.
Happy turkey day
Being reported by Chip Brown apparently.

This, my message to the Senior Class of 1931, I address also to the seniors of all years, those seniors of the past and those seniors yet to be. This I do because I love them all equally even as I love all mankind regardless of station or creed, race or religion.
I stand on the border of mortal...
"One of the few teams in the country that can beat anybody."
Ain't it the truth.
Does anybody have a link for parking passes near the stadium? I parked across the street last year, and it worked out well for tailgating. I realize I may be a little late to the punch this year, has anybody already done the research?
Their women's swim team
Baylor QB Bryce Petty currently has 56 TD passes, and only 8 INTs. That is exactly a 7-to-1 TD to INT ratio. Impressive! He also has 7,023 passing yards at Baylor. He certainly will finish 2nd all-time to the great Robert Griffin III in that category. :spin:
We rib each other all year and have a lot of fun on here but at the end of the day we are all Bears.
Hope your turkeys are stuffed and your pants are loose.
Happy Thanksgiving Bears!
Have a blessed one.
That's the focus.
Let me first go on the record that I wish we had a mediocre Power 5 team in our OOC schedule so that it would never ever come up as an issue. That being said, it seems to me that K State is the posterchild for how "doing the right thing" can screw you.
Here's the question: Where would Kansas...
Just added a victory over a top 5 team to resume.

Our two main recruiting competititors UT and Aggy both lost on Thanksgiving. Both are irrelevant.
We are about to murder Tech in its sleep in a couple of days.
Baylor is 9-1 and likely to win out and go 11-1. We have a good shot at the Playoffs.
Put us and TCU on opposite sides of the bracket. If we meet in Jerryworld it would be wise to call in the National Guard
You think? Anyways, 61-58...
Those 2 may be shaving points! They both sucked
Why not wear the throwbacks?
The key metric used during last week's rankings was game control. We never trailed in our game and led by 14 over OSU for over 55 min.
Why the hell is Ohio St still ahead of us when they trailed a horrible Indiana team in the 3rd quarter.
What is Ian doing about this?
No matter who you prefer to win to help our playoff chances, I think this becomes Charlie Strong's signature win and one he's aimed for. It's a home game, UT has one of the nation's top defenses so they can hold the Frogs in check and TCU's secondary is relatively suspect, or enough so that UT...
Todd Archer from ESPNDallas reports that the Cowboys have contacted two defensive ends who have played for Rob Ryan in Cleveland, Kenyon Coleman and Robaire Smith. At this point however it's hard to imagine that the 32-year old Coleman or the 33-year old Smith could be long-term solutions for the...
I don't think I like this line of thinking.....
Come on, everyone. Ohio St. surely belongs in the top four over BU. Their only loss came after they had their starting QB go down. Even against a crappy team like VTech, you can't expect them to overcome an injury like that. NO TEAM could handle that type of injury and win.
With OSU playing with a quarterback that was starting his first career game, the Baylor defense held the Cowboys to 17 first downs and only 166 yards rushing. While Mason Rudolph only completed 13 passes, they went for an impressive 21.6 yards per completion average and yielded 2 touchdowns for...
The Baylor Bears defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys at McLane Stadium in Waco, 49-28, on a rainy late November night in front of the 2nd-largest crowd in the short 5-game history of the stadium (47,179). The Bears won their 15th straight home game by starting fast and finishing strong – two...
Baylor RB Shock Linwood currently has 977 yards rushing for the Baylor Bears so far in the 2014 college football season. He is only 23 yards away from 1,000 this season. He averages 4.9 yards on 198 rushes. His longest run of the season is 39 yards, and he has a whopping 13 rushing TDs. :spin:
With a holiday weekend coming, today was month-end for my office, which means that I and everyone else in Accounting and Finance got to work late while everyone else left early. It also meant customers bugging me for things all day long, because they want to get documents or advice so they can...
...Baylor getting some love from Yahoo.
Going to continue using this thread to consolidate photos.
With all of the attention on Minnesota for some reason....which teams from the Big 12 beat them on a neutral field?
3) Kansas St.
6) West Virginia
7) Texas Tech? Maybe
8) Oklahoma St.? Maybe
How would rank the SEC, PAC 12, BIG 10 and ACC divisions? My initial thoughts are
SEC West - all teams above .500 and four ranked in AP Top 20
PAC 12 South - five teams with at least 7 wins. 3 ranked AP Top 20
SEC East - 2 teams in AP Top 20
ACC Atlantic - 3 teams in AP Top 25
Big 10 East...
