D'oh! That is the tourney with the Christmas-time dates at least.

Looks like the Buffs played in it last year along with Indiana.

The 2011 Las Vegas Invitational will be played on November 25 & 26th... So Perry will most likely be eligible by then - but Franklin won't be eligible until mid-December, right?

The promoter runs two events--one is the Las Vegas Classic, the other is the Las Vegas Invitational. Baylor is in the Classic, which is played in December with 2 games on campus and 2 at the Orleans. Perry will be eligible after the first 5 games, Gary after first semester classes end.

Got nothing on the "Las Vegas Classic" except for a post I can't read on a WV scout forum regarding their belief of entry to said tourney.

Since you seem to be the only who knows what's going on, any idea on other teams who will be involved?

I believe West Virginia will be one of Baylor's opponents in Vegas, with Missouri State possibly being the other.

Yeah, me too. Was pumped about the tourney in my backyard. And was pumped about some texas buds getting to hang out in Charleston. Awesome city.

I'll be in Vegas in October so don't think i'll be able to swing that tourney.

would really have enjoyed Charleston, and the wife would have been happy for us to go (for several reasons).

Look for Baylor to be in ESPN's 2012 Charleston event. Just postponed a year.
