Baylor women’s basketball incoming freshman Alexis Prince has accepted an invitation to compete at the U.S. 18-and-under team trials May 19-21 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Twelve players will be chosen from the field of 26 to represent the country at the FIBA Americas U18 Championship on Aug. 15-19 in Puerto Rico.
Prince, a forward from Orlando, Fla., averaged 19.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 3.1 blocks per game while leading Edgewater High School to the Class 6A state championship this season.
