Since the award started in 1984. Congrats!

I'm surprised Cam Newton didn't win it last year after throwing for over 400 yards.

Me too...I guess b/c he still lost. Two videos after the one above...Herm Edwards said RG3's was a better performance, but that Cam was at a disadvantage...no OTA's, he lost, mistake free football, etc....

Yardage is only part of the stats. Cam threw a pick and completed 64.9% of his throws.
RG3 no pics and 73.1% completions.

On the weekly ESPN cross sports power ranking, RG3 got second for the week. http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=8365609

The votes are in, and our CSPR winner this week is Serena Williams, queen of the court for her U.S. Open win; Robert Griffin III, who played a faultless game in beating the Saints, is our runner-up, and Andy Murray is third for winning his first major.

You just shouldn't win the player of the week award as a QB if you lose the game.

He lost the game, and didn't he throw an interception?
We're serious, man, we're not playin'. Baylor's serious! We're on the rise!--Antwan Goodley
