2013 Baylor Helmet Designs

Jersey and helmet threads are overdone, I know. But I'm still mourning RGIII's injury and am depressed that the college football season is over, so I'm taking my mind off of it the only way I know how...by dreaming about what helmet Baylor might be wearing in our BCS bowl game next year.

I put together a couple designs that should offer a little something for everyone.

Design #1: For the Traditionalists
Matte gold helmet with a grey facemask and matte green logo. The only twist is that instead of having a white outline around the logo we have a black shadow. Also the logo is larger than normal. Normal striping (green/white/green.)


Design #2: For the Modernists
Matte black helmet with a mirror gold logo and black facemask. Striping would either be mirror gold or gold/white/gold.


Design #3: For the "Let's Copy Oregon" Fans
Metallic green helmet with metallic gold logo. Green facemask with no striping.


This should take our minds off the fact that Louisville finished the year ranked below Florida despite beating them 33-23 and Baylor finished the year ranked below UCLA despite curb-stomping them 49-19.

I vote #1 please, but wish they'd take that white stripe off and just leave it green with the black shadow.

I have been dreaming about the game day experience at the new stadium.

Don't touch the logo on the gold helmet. The white looks good and helps the "BU" to stand out. I wouldn't do anything with the gold helmet at all save maybe put on Teaff stripes for the last game in Floyd Casey versus Texas.

#2 is an AWESOME looking helmet. The unis would have to look good with this helmet for sure it would be a weird combination.

#3 could look pretty cool as well.
