Great article, I think this quote show just how much Briles and staff are truly invested in the players. It is more than just football with them

"Coach Briles stuck around the whole time," Robbie says. "The coaches were there for me before we found out he had cancer and they stayed around with me when he had his cancer. They continued to be there for me. They were always supportive."

Reminds how Briles stayed on Ganaway about finishing school.

I highly recommend reading this article. I'm so glad the Rhodes family is now part of the Baylor family.
"We have the (Big 12 title) belt around our waist, and it's buckled up pretty tight. It will be a struggle to get that sucker off, I can promise you that. . . . We like the belt, and we're going to keep it."

That was a very powerful and beautiful article. I lost my Dad very unexpectedly to a pulmonary embolism two years ago and this article made me tear up. Overall, it makes me feel just really good and privileged to know we have such an awesome coaching staff and student athletes with whom to share our Baylor passion.
