Kyle did wear #23, but I think he played much later than those pictures.

Coach Teaff used to have these photos made your freshman year and he would send one to your parents and to your high school.

Thanks robby. I left in 76 and lost track. Somehow I thought Kyle had his accident in the mid to early 80's, after I came to California. Sorry.

That's correct. I knew his name was Alan, I forgot his last name. Alan and Horace went to the same school in Austin, LBJ I think.

Kyle's injury was before the 1979 season. He came to Atlanta to the Peach Bowl and was a big inspiration for the win over the Clemson Tigers. All the Baylor players in the Peach Bowl wore arm bands with 23 on them. The announcers talked about Kyle a good bit.
