Kone is listed as a junior.

I was under the impression that he had just one year of eligibility left because he had lost a year for something before junior college but others seem to think he will only be at Baylor one year before he turns pro.

    Can anyone clarify this issue?

He technically is a junior, but will likely only have one year of eligibility left, per Scott Drew.

This could be to age restrictions (my best guess), or it could be due to some other outside factor that we're unaware of.

Wow! 3 legit players at 6'10" & taller. When has BU ever had a team with that many headtoppers? Never would be my guess.

"Headtopper" is a word you don't see much any more.

    Not as much as "mawtapper".
“I had a real good time tonight blocking shots,” said Griner, who set both Baylor and Big 12 records for single-game blocks. “They didn’t get the message to stop coming in, because they kept coming. So I just kept taking the blocks.”

Man, that roster looks 10 times better than last year! It includes guys from Finland, Australia, Senegal, and France. We have an international look similar to the Mavericks.

Mike Fisher, David Sibley, Larry Gatewood and David Nelson, circa 1967-1968 might challenge the 6'10" tape.

If you wanted to compare us to a bad international team, you would say Mavericks, but if you wanted to comapre us to a good team with international flavor, you should have said SPURS!

Actually, he's been behaving pretty well lately. I've not had to raise a hand to the lad for several weeks.

It's also the number of times he has been out-played in a game.

Don't act like you have anything to do with me, and furthermore, don't even address me.

The facts are facts regardless of the details. Scott Drew said to plan on one year---that is the crux of the question, not WHY he only has one year.

I've met both Sibley & Gatewood, and I don't believe either is 6'10".
