Colorado center Aaronette Vonleh has decided to transfer to Baylor following her official visit.

The 6-foot-3 junior averaged 14 points, 5.1 rebounds. 1.1 blocks, and 1.0 steals this past season as she helped lead the Buffs to the Sweet 16 and earned All-PAC 12 honors.

Vonleh scored in double figures 27 times which inlcuded a 24-point performance against No. 1 LSU, a 20-point performance against No. 13 Oregon State, and 18-point performances against No. 7 USC and No. 12 Utah.

As a sophomore she posted 12.2 points and 4.5 rebounds as she earned co-Pac-12 Most Improved Player.

Baylor needs some firepower to replace both its leading scorer Dre’Una Edwards and leading rebounder Aijha Blackwell, Vonleh will help in both of those areas. She will also try to soidify the Bears defensievly in the paint which was an area they struggled this past season.

Vonleh has one year of eligibility remaining.

Really pleased with this addition. This was what we needed to return to the Sweet Sixteen and maybe go further.
