Last year the two mains Portal adds were from Motion offenses.

This year the two main Portal adds are (1) a player from a pro Flo 2 ISO offense, and (2) a player that spent 2 years in a Dribble Drive offense and then 1 year in a 1980s Set Play offense.

Without regard to the ability of any of the players, not sure how TCU intends to Frankenstein them into one coherent offense. And on D…….well………Prince can block some shots but the other 3 are perimeter Matador D aficionados.

Has Prince ever played a whole season anywhere? She is injury prone. Perhaps that's why she requested and was granted another year?

She didn't have a history of injuries until she broke her leg in USA ball the Summer before she started at UT.
She does have a continuing history of injuries since that point.

She has always been a knucklehead with a problematic parent. Switched high schools under a cloud. Switched Summer League programs under a cloud. UT to Oregon to TCU. The social media storm she started about the NCAAT. She is a "perpetual victim" looking for someone to blame.

Don't forget about the "GoFundMe" she started due to Texas' medical staff not doing enough to deal with her injuries. She has been a walking complainer since she landed in high school. And hasn't been on a winning team since entering college. Maybe her and Van Lith will connect and generate some chemistry. But Prince's journey has been anything but smooth. Not sure if she'll have a WNBA career or have to resort to overseas. Which would be a shock given her pedigree coming into college and her height.

She was right about the NCAA Tournament disparities and she was far from the only one who spoke out about them. Her social media posts just got more attention. And lo, and behold, more and better equipment was located and made available.

I don't disagree that sometimes she can come across as a complainer, just that sometimes complaints loudly expressed are justified and necessary.

The equipment wasn't her only complaint. She also complained about the hotel situation while totally ignoring that WBB is housing all teams at two regional sites [men at four] and that doubling up the number of teams means doubling up the hotel space needed and thus [to maintain quality balance] often means pushing some teams further away from the arena than happens in the men's game. It wasn't a conspiracy simply a logistical reality…..except in her mind where she is always a victim.

And in regard to equipment…..yes a disparity…..but let's be honest…….the proceeds from the men's tournament funds the entire NCAA organization, the women's tournament can't even fund itself. Title IX violation? Yes. Horrible conspiracy to get women? No. Simply a budget reality on a money losing venture.

And UT wasn't required/obligated to do anything because she arrived at UT with the injury.

Giving something when you owe nothing isn't neglect.
