I don't have any details on quality but TCU has added quantity. How do their gains stack up against thier loses?

I know TCU lost 5 players to the transfer portal. Sydney Harris was biggest loss in transfer portal at 9.4 PPG. Everyone else they lost was 3.6 PPG or less. Obviously Hailey Van Lith and Maddie Scherr were double digit scorers. Taylor Bigby averaged 4.8 PPG last year. Donovyn Hunter averaged 6.8 PPG, and Natalie Mazurek averaged 7 PPG last year. Season Merrill averaged 8 PPG last year. Thus, I say it was net positive for TCU in terms of gains to losses.

Fascinated by TCU. They're a significantly more talented team compared to last year. They also have a very wide variance of potential outcomes.

One version is they are a Sweet Sixteen team, with the possibility of advancing further. That version would have Prince remaining healthy all year and serving as the interior presence, surrounded by a bevy of excellent outside shooters (Conner, Jovanovic, Nnopu, Scherr, Van Lith, Hunter, Roberson and Bigby all shoot 33% or better from 3). They blend together with excellent chemistry and mature, experienced players, and they use their depth to play high energy defense in waves of interchangeable perimeter players.

Another version is they get knocked out in the 1st round, or perhaps miss the tournament. That version would have Prince injured again. They would have a huge lack of chemistry with 6 new first year transfers trying to fit into a new system, and a disgruntled locker room full of players who aren't getting the playing time they'd hoped. They are loaded up with 7 Guards standing 6'0" or less, and all 7 have been rotation players at D-1 schools; 6 of them are in their 4th or 5th year of college, so this is their last shot. I'm not sure how Coach Campbell intends to allocate those minutes to keep all those talented players happy.

SF - Conner, Scherr, Nnopu
PF - Roberson
P - Prince, Mazurek
