I Timothy 1: 10 Here's the key point to remember," writes Matthew. "Even if Paul had intended his words to be a condemnation of all forms of same-sex relations, the context in which he would have been making that statement would still differ significantly from our context today." That's because same-sex behavior in the first century was not understood to be the expression of an exclusive sexual orientation but rather it was understood as excess on the part of those who could easily be content with heterosexual relationships, but who went beyond them in search of more exotic pleasures. So when the translation of malakoi and arsenokoites shifted in the 20th century to refer to people with same-sex orientation, "it fostered the mistaken belief that Paul was condemning a minority group with a different sexual orientation" when "in fact, he was condemning excessive and exploitive sexual conduct." Agreed. Sadly you keep selling ignorance Waco, and if you understand it is inexcusable to do so, I am baffled as to why you continue.
Because Waco has absolutely no other way the get the attention he so desparately craves.

so the magisterium just let the word of God be changed to mean something different?

The living word has been passed unbroken. It wasnt mistakenly changed.

Why do you dislike God so much?

Called it.

Ah yes, Rachel Held, the dead heretic. Interesting she died suddenly and unexpectedly, at a young age, isn't it?

Is it your belief that homosexuality became OK after the new covenant? Or do you falsely believe that it was never a sin at all?

He cannot answer it because to say an anorexic should not be affirmed in his or her perception of fatness is to admit that there are things that are true about individuals whether the individual involved wants them to be true or believes them to be true while to say they should be affirmed in their "fatness" is both crazy and cruel.

Why? False beliefs such as the belief that one is a man when one is a woman or that one is a cow when one is actually a human or that one is fat when one is, in actuality, literally starving to death or the belief that one's wife is a hat are all examples of disordered thinking. These are all classic mental illnesses. We could choose to say to all of those, in the interest of protecting their feelings, that she is a man, that he or she is a cow, that he or she is actually obese or that his wife is a hat. However, except for one of them, we do not pretend they are not mental illnesses. WE TREAT THEM. When you go one and on about a man actually being a woman or vice versa, you are doing the same thing as telling an anorexic that he or she is fat.

Make the case that a man can actually be a woman.

As an aside, another weird new wrinkle in the radical trainey movement. Correct me if I'm wrong, but five years ago we did not have to pretend transvestites were actually women. They were men wearing women's clothes, and a few actually were transexual, i.e. had their donger cut off. The silliness that we have to pretend the second a person declares "trans" they are that sex and always were that sex. It's Idiocracy we pretend Ellen Page never starred in Juno.

In the OP, have posted a couple of links and stated an opinion. That is not how one makes a case, and you certainly have not made the case that a man can be a woman. Make that case, because that is what you are demanding everyone accept.

Do a poll to answer this question.

Would be interesting to see how many are like minded with 47.

Mental illness should be treated and not enabled.
